Sen. Rand Paul questioned Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel about alleged safety risks for young men after multiple doses of the Covid vaccine, claiming that the president of the company privately acknowledged that he was right.
SEN. RAND PAUL: I spoke with your president just last week and he readily acknowledged, in private, that yes there is an increased risk of myocarditis. The fact that you can't say it in public is quite disturbing.
PAUL: Do you believe it creates a conflict of interest for the government employees who are making money off of the vaccine to be also dictating how many times we take the vaccine?
BANCEL: This is for the government to decide.

No. I'd preferred that it had never been delivered at all and certainly not at tax payer expense and totally immune to any lawsuit. Not sure how the Trump fanboys defend him on this one?

What do you think would have happened after 1/20/21 if there was no "vaccine" anywhere close to being ready to distribute?
You didn't have to take it, or your wife, or your children.

CV19 in early 2021 was predominated by the Alpha variant (B.1.1.7). People who carry your attitude either forget Alpha was roughly twice as lethal as today's variants. Either that, or you never knew it to begin with. The initial vax was also far more effective against it than today's vax is against the currently predominant Omicron descendants (XBB.1.5).
But were it not for the vax, some state-level Potatobrain sycophants could have kept swaths of the US shutdown for years.

All of this is irrelevant. I don't care how scared you were. That is no excuse to federally fund a vaccine that doesn't work, has KNOWN side effects, and the only immunity it has is to protect the manufacturer from being sued.
