Here’s the Camera cut feed to Harlan calling the dramatic game winner by Furman against Virginia. He’s definitely one of the great ones of all time. So happy he’s the Number 1 guy at Turner after all these years.

He genuinely loves what he does. Im sure other announcers do too, but it resonates in the level of excitement and passion in his calls.

Wish I still had that kind of passion for any sport outside of LSU football.

Found out the other day that Kenny Albert is the son of Marv Albert. I'm a dip shite.

Seconded. Should've seen the resemblance but didn't know that either.

harlan and john thompson(former gtown coach) were good together on nba games. they played off each other really well, and thompson showed himself to have charisma and wit to him.

He should have been appointed the top chair at CBS 15 years ago. No one else comes close. This is mercifully Nantz's last year, right?

I mute the network that carries the Super Bowl just to listen to him on Westwood One. He blows everyone else away by a mile.

They were together on Westwood One's NCAA Tournament coverage too. I listened to them the year Syracuse won.

That was a great shot of them losing their mind over what happened.

Harlan is amazing at both football and hoops.

I enjoy the radio versions too.
