Not sure who is on the travel roster, but it seems like we could've gone lefty-righty there down to our last out.

I saw Frey was there.

good spot for him to learn how to deal with pressure. the experience from that ab will pay off down the road

Nah, that's not the time for a learning moment.

Frey, Merrifield, Travinski or Milazzo

Right handed bat off the bench is a hole on the roster for sure

Travinski
Skenes
Frey

Granted, Neal had some good looks vs LHP this series (Pearson too).

Yeah, idk who I would have put in there, but not a freshman lefty facing a lefty.

I know the rant would think it’s suicide, but I might have even batted Milazzo there.

It was dumb to hit Neal there. Beloso should have hit

Who would you rather give an ab to there? Neal is solid

You're missing the point of why Neal shouldn't have hit if you think Beloso should've hit.

A righty. It has nothing to do with how "solid" someone is.

Did someone say Skenes should DH? I was saying he could have pinch hit

Now this is just a dumb take! I love beloso…. But why would you put him? Just curious on your thoughts.

Depends how much stock you put into lefty vs lefty. But Beloso has the power to tie it up with one swing. Neal doesn’t. Neal hitting with 2 outs when he’s been bad all weekend was dumb.

A right-handed hitter.

Eh, I get that you definitely want a righty. But other than Milazzo, who’s on the bench? I truly don’t know. I wouldn’t have hated to see Beloso there. He’s seen SEC pitchers for like 10 years now.
