I was getting annoyed until I changed my point of view to see that the announcers were desperately trying to find moral victories because LSU was killing them.

It’s Texas A&M aka MoralVictoryU. They made commemorative cups celebrating beating a 3 loss team in a football game that took them 7 overtimes and the refs handing the game to them to make it happen.

Geez… I thought they were both really good today calling the game? It sounded fair to me. It may have been slanted to A&M a little in the first few innings but so was the game. I do like it better when they go up there and just say the truth about the umpires though. Like saying yea, to be fair this guys strike zone is like hitting a moving target. Two of our most accurate pitchers were inaccurate today lol. You’d think the umpire would know these guys are strike throwers and are accurate and call the game accordingly. A&M was given entirely too much plate when they were pitching wildly. That is my only compliant. It’s not just me though, every player knew it and the coaches also knew it. That’s why they just pulled those guys early and went to someone else. Can’t fight it.

Were the announcers Aggies?
I agree with Broski on this. The announcers were making an interesting point that some of the statistics were atypical for a comfortable LSU win. The top of our lineup wasn’t hitting and the Aggies had 6 runs on a Saturday. Both of those would normally augur an Aggie win.

They held us hitless through three, but we loaded the bases in the first two innings. Not exactly anything to brag about if you’re A&M.
