I generally respect Tucker Carlson, but this comes off as far too naive.
His statement applies to any of the large media outlets (which includes the one he works for) and it really no longer matters as to the perception of their political leanings as they are now all too clear and no the open.
Anyone actually reporting on the News is in short supply. Everything is presented and filtered through a political lens intended to manipulation and shape opinions to a desired view/outcome or vote.
I would have more respect for him if he bailed out of Fox News.

I think he is so hung up on his age. He isn't old.
I think he was genuinely fooled by the MIC and Iraq war and DC for years...
