We need common sense antler control.

Interesting for the prosecutor in this case.

To get a conviction the State will have to convince a jury the dead guy was not stalking the killer’s daughter.

I expect the prosecutor will try his best to avoid a jury trial by making a pretty good deal.

The only deal should be the Prosecutor buying this man a steak dinner.

While not my preferred way to kill a pedophile (that would be a wood chipper) an antler is a nice touch.

+10 points for creativity.

A dad walked into a Minnesota police station "covered in blood" and told police he beat a man with a shovel 15 to 20 times and "finished him off" with a moose antler, according to court documents.

Started with a shovel and used an Antler as an exclamation point.

I love a good story about a pedophile getting their end but you have gotta be a lot smarter about this! You NEVER switch weapons mid beating, especially after you got him 15-20 times with a shovel. You beat 77 year old perv 15-20 times with a shovel, he is already out of commission and most likely no longer a threat to anyone in the eyes of the law. Your best bet is to just finish his arse off with the shovel and go with the crime of passion defense. Don't get cute. When you are going to get rid of people like this, do it in a way where the prosecutor won't even blink an eye about letting you go.

He could still use the crime of passion defense. Remember he felt that he had to protect his child's life.

Man of the year award should be in his future.
I wish more parents had his instincts to protect the young and innocent.
