Charge her with attempted homicide of a law enforcement officer, try her as an adult, let her plead down to aggravated battery and put her away for fifteen years. See how that goes and what kind of message it’ll send to some of the other wannabe thugs.

Chalk this up to one of the 10,000 annual encounters where Baton Rouge Cops are legally cleared hot to use deadly force, but show restraint and handle the resistance and aggression with deescalation and minimal force.

We’ve been doing it for 150 years, but that doesn’t fit the narrative so these wins are not discussed at length.

We need to build gigantic prisons, pay the guards well, and just lock up every piece of shite who commits a violent crime for the maximum time allowed by law. There is a 99.9% chance this little attempted murderer gets nothing but a year of probation of the charges aren’t just dropped entirely.
