This was boring as hell. Bella has a mouth, newsflash at 11. Uninspiring.
This series is (downvote away) just not good. Considering they could have learned from The Last Ship, The Walking Dead, etc., there is just a massive amount of wasted time and filler in a lot of these episodes.

But are these not the relationships in the game? This isn’t an example of changing established characters for the sake ‘being woke’ like in so many other IPs.

Once again, too much time spent on a flashback. 9 episodes isn’t a lot, I enjoy the backstories but they could easily be done in 20-25min.
The writers are also way too reliant on swearing as a way for the kids to seem funny and endearing. It’s pretty worn out, wish they would find more clever ways to make them charming.
The post-bite sequence was well done, great acting

Absolute shite filler episode and their "acting" wore thin.
At least Episode 3 was well acted.

I think it’s a great show.
As far as movement, everyone had to know we were going to get an Ellie background episode. I’m ok with that. I think it gives a lot of insight to her loss and her will at this point to save who she can that is close to her.

The swearing is definitely noticeable. The writing overall is pretty lackluster. On one hand the girls don’t know much about the world or what it was before but then they throw out snarky millennial terms like “fascist” like they know exactly what that means.

Time and place. It makes sense with the Sopranos. Hardly even notice it.
But these premium/adult channels feel like they have to lay it on thick to remind you that you're watching "adult" content. Whether it fits or not. Same thing with T&A.

Not really a filler episode imo as this episode covered the dlc.
