So you have no recommended news sources, you just come in here and shitpost about things you disagree with?

I would recommend actual news sources, any of them really. But most importantly several of them. A sample and aggregate your perspective from them.

Never in 10000 years would I imagine being dumb enough to get news from Twitter or anything similar. The average person is beyond retarded when it comes to education level or knowledge of current events. Why would I let some stupid blue check inform me on, well, anything?

So you allow yourself to be gaslighted by the propaganda arm of our crookedass government.

I don't believe you are the person that needs to be criticizing others about where they get their news.

You’re right! “Internet personalities” and random Twitter accounts are where everyone should get their information

Twitter is like a personalized AP Newswire. Follow people covering your area of interest and get the news as it breaks. Some people will post too much or in areas that aren’t relevant to you and you just unfollow them.

It’s really simple and what Twitter’s true value is.

You do realize “actual news sources” are on Twitter, right?

You do realize that pretty much all of these "actual news sources" you speak of have a very large presence on Twitter right? It's the same information, just a different medium available for consumption by the user

Twitter is absolutely the best place to be for SPORTS, both in terms of news and discourse. It's nice to follow people from other things you're interested in too. But overall "news"? Meh

Yes. If you got a piece of information from said source on Twitter, would you say you got the info from that source, or “from Twitter”?

I can’t recommend follows if I don’t know your interests. If you’re an Ohio st fan, for example, seek out their beat writers, people associated with the athletic dept, people that cover recruiting. Players, if that is your thing.

I’m not talking about actual sources of information that happen to disseminate same via Twitter, I’m talking about the massive amount of people who get their information from idiotic Twitter/other similar site “personalities”. Those people aren’t there because Twitter is a news aggregator. They are they because they care about and give credence to Internet personalities

This isn't unique to Twitter though. Would you say the same about someone who gets their news from Tucker Carlson or Don Lemon?
