What benefit do we get for funding/protecting a country that can't protect itself? Are we entitled to some of their GDP?

What benefit do we get...?

Diminishing the power of the #3 military on the planet with little threat to our own military.

This war is, and will always be, to enrich the war Barrons on our MIC.
Our govt, notorious for lying to us to get us in war, doesn’t even care about selling the lie to us anymore.

I’d rather have used the money for reparations than WWIII.

We could build the wall and do reparations for what we are giving away overseas.

Was Russia threatening us? Is Ukraine in NATO? Why are we fighting a proxy war?

Ostensibly to liberate a liberal democracy from oppression.

Personally, I believe it's to diminish the power of the #3 military on the planet with little threat to our own military.

You forget the pesky little fact that most of our politicians, on both sides, are laundering money through Ukraine.

Don't worry, wars don't matter anymore because it's just money and drones. Muh they have insurance.

Biden and them were too retarded to grasp the concept that the bigger picture was in demonstrating to China a robust and definitive real-world example of what it could expect if and when it decides to go on the offense against its neighbors and potentially elsewhere. Because after all, it’s China that’s actually the world’s baddest actor with the most nefarious intentions and plans. China’s intentions are much larger than those of Putin and Russia “merely” seeking some useful territory in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Anyhow, Biden and them screwed up the “demonstration” so very badly, initially, that they’ve had to play catch up ever since in an effort to convince China that we’re not actually a bunch of retards who probably couldn’t even stop a balloon from traversing the entire country’s worth of intel. Whoops!!

A better question is what benefit has the US received from any war since WWII?

Putin might know.

But US equipment is destroying Russian equipment (at a pretty good rate) whether Russia wins or loses.

If you're asking if there is an end to war in general, I"m afraid that's still a long way off.

How noble of those hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to do that for "US"!

So, the US has issues. Why don't we use all of these funds to focus on US citizens?

One of the most revolting and immoral aspects of the pro war crowd is how they really don’t give the slightest frick about dead Ukrainians while simultaneously pretending this is all for them.

As many dead Ukrainians as it takes.

They are merely bugs to be crushed as a means to an end by two competing power playing assholes.
