Would you have Pearson in your lineup tonight?

He hasn’t touched a baseball in any scrimmage yet. Major slump.

There’s no way I wouldn’t have Jones in there tonight! Jobert in LF. Pearson to PH if needed.

I don't know, but I would have asked this in the thread already discussing line up predictions.

I don’t think you can leave him out of the lineup after last season. Jay seems to have a lot of trust in him so I’d expect to see him in there. Hopefully he’s just a gamer and turns it on when there are asses in the stands. I still think that Jones will get in there somehow though.

Aren't they throwing a righty?

I'd put him in there and give him a chance to prove it, but an 0-4 day would have me giving someone else a shot tomorrow.

He'll get his chances, you cant ignore a guy who hit .300 as a freshman in the SEC because their offseason wasn't good.

Nope. He hasn’t sniffed a base hit for sometime. I would give him some at bats in later innings to try to get him rolling. If he gets rolling insert him in the line up. We have too much talent to not play the hot hitter. I know Jay trust him but he has been putrid at the plate all off season.

I think it's Pearson or Kling and the practices are over
If Pearson wants the job he better step it up

Jobert has earned some time so I think he gets start in RF

He thinks he’s some insider with a huge baseball brain. Let him cook.

ProjectP is one of the worst on here. Dude has self entitlement issues. It’s sad to see man almost feel sorry for the guy

Well, you can't ignore him, but you can sit him until he shows life in practice.

Yea, I’m letting him hit his way out of the lineup.

That’s how you end up screwing up every hitters head and have a team full of guys with no confidence at the plate. They’re not running backs on the football team, baseball is a game of failure and the coach’s job is to get the best guys rolling by the end of the season. Not giving Pearson a chance to get hot would be idiotic

I'm not permanently benching a guy who hit .300 as a freshman until he "shows life in practices". I'm giving him every shot possible in games to show its simply not there against a creampuff filled OOC while we have it. Not like it's a detriment for him to get some ABs early on in the season. If it's coming off the bench so be it, but he should be getting ABs without a doubt.

I've been very explicit about not having any inside sources.

No, I'm just not fricking dumb. Which is apparently a bar too high for some people around here to clear.

Guys I’m not saying bench Pearson. He needs to get his chances. But maybe midweek for now? Until he shows signs of life. I cannot keep Jones out of the lineup. Facing righty or lefty. He’s too hot!

Project is one of those arrogant baseball retards like ell that think they are the ultimate LSU baseball fanz that need to moderate us lowly casuals. They scoff at our uninformed posts. They probably have not been laid in a very very long time.
