They’re finally starting to report on the ~1000 train derailments we have every year

Derailments are a regular occurrence in this country and now that there has been a big news story about one, they are all getting highlighted and people are now paying attention for the time being until the next big story comes along.

Let's not forget that there was another chemical/plastics plant fire. This time in Kissimmee, FL. Started at 0200. Because that's not suspicious...

And I’m sure there has been a few new chicken plant fires. The conspiracy loons are slipping by not letting us know the minute these happen.

They were plastic pots for plants outside a nursery, not an actual plastics factory. But two acres of plastic burning did make a big fire.

exactly, they are a weekly occurance

not to mention despite what the dumbass conspiracy theorist on here want to tell you, the ohio derailment was handled properly as far as controlled burn.

if you look at the one passed last year, most of the rail spending language was towards Amtrak, specifically in the NE.

they say infrastructure but meant passenger cars for the east coast.

I’ve lost some respect for people who are freaking out over every story of a derailment or chemical fire over the last week since the incident in Ohio. It reminds me of the chicken farm fires panic last year.

Feel free to list all the government owned railroads in the country.

Or are you saying they should be subsidized by the federal government? Nationalized perhaps?
