We won the SEC. Exactly like in the example.
And how much did the athletic department bungling hurt his teams? We very clearly lost out on recruits because of it. Wade wasn't allowed to coach his best team in the tournament.
We both know it is a matter of time before Wade has some other neglected program competing at a high level while we still have Coach McBland snoozing through another blowout loss in front of 1500 elderly fans.

We never truly won shite with Wade.
Some of yall are delusional. We won one of the toughest SEC conferences in history 2 years after we went 2-16 but sure man keep being a prick

TJ only won the sec because Brady. If Brady was given another year he wins the sec and likely gets a four or five seed. Then makes his run to the sweet 16 again.
Brady was a roller coaster of great team, bad, bad, good, bad, bad, good again. He was in position for good again.

No truer words have ever been spoken. THAT ENTIRE TEAM was put together by Brady through Collis.
ZERO energy (and personality) Trent strolls right in and coaches that team into the ONLY team that made UNC sweat on the way to the title. If I'm not mistaken, we were up 8 in the 2nd half.
Unfortunately, Trent couldn't bother to spend the time and effort, or just as likely REFUSED to get his hands dirty, and the talent dries up. I remember reports of top players we were "recruiting" under Trent, where he NEVER ONCE went to watch said recruits play. Thank goodness TCU took him off our hands, but then we make almost as bad a hire with JJ.
Finally, Woodward's relationship with Emmert HAD to have been what forced Scott to fire Wade. I get a kick out of these comments by posters throughout this thread and others: "It's so dadgummed obvious which of you fellers have never been in the position of hirin' and firin'".
There's a POWERFUL thing called LEVERAGE, and LSU has it IN SPADES over the weak assed, hanging by a thread NCAA. Schools lower in the food chain than LSU have used it to get the NCAA to back right the fLuck off. The family tie had to have been the reason for Scott not to tell the NCAA to kick rocks.

Some shizz you don’t have to respond

Wade definitely made some bonehead moves, but you expect him to trust Alleva?
Wade fired his first lawyer, met with Alleva shortly after retaining his 2nd lawyer, and was reinstated almost immediately
Remember, Wade was so guilty & scared, that rather than meet with Alleva, he forfeited the opportunity to coach his team in the postseason.
Which was shameful, because in the end, Alleva proved that he was not out to get him.

Lol that’s not at all what happened. There was a meeting set, Alleva altered it allowing the NCAA to question Wade about an FBI investigation he wasn’t allowed to talk about without telling Wade so Wade didn’t show up. Now in your version Wade had already fired his lawyer but that’s not true. What happened next was Alleva suspended Wade. Wade didn’t choose to not coach the team in favor of stall tactics like your fabrication alleges. After figuring out what Alleva was up to he changed lawyers in order to deal with this type of situation and that lawyer plus the boosters got Alleva to reinstate Wade.

This...this is exactly why he had to ditch Wade. You know this and just can't accept it. That's on you.
Posted on 2/12/23 at 7:25 pm to lil tiger22
Good....you put up $1M to begin the buyout...all you can afford it...right?
Posted on 2/12/23 at 7:26 pm to lil tiger22
This is year 1.....he will be our coach for several more.

Wade fired himself, he gone. Move on folks.

So fat Woody hired an unproven mid major coach for a super long-term contract with a big buy out. I sure hope McMahon can pull unicorns like Ja out of his a$$ every year. Otherwise, fans will suffer from pale Trent syndrome for the next 3 or 4 years.

That includes trent Johnson….
Trent Johnson won with a loaded team that Brady left, when fans like you ran him off.
Wade won with players he recruited.
Mac is losing with players he himself recruited.
Do you understand the difference?

Wade won with players he PAID.... did it stupidly and got nailed. Bye Will.
