I don’t know what to do. I just know the people who truly support LSU and this basketball program needs to hold Scott accountable. What do we need to do? How do we show and speak up?

He brought in the best football coach and baseball coach he could. He had to recruit a basketball coach telling that coach we may have loss of scholarships and postseason. He wasn’t getting anyone worthwhile.

If you weren't going to be able to hire anyone worth a damn, you might as well kept Wade.
The NCAA hasn't exactly done anything to those other programs in the same scandal. Just tell the NCAA to frick off and move on

What did he lie about? And did he even need to tell them anything? What fricking idiot would think all of a sudden a program this is absolute dog shite could go from where it did to winning the SEC in year 2. I mean fricking duh players were paid. Players have been paid for years and years. How else would LSU become relevant so fast. Props to Wade for actually figuring out how to pay and get winning players to LSU.

Wade did every single little thing wrong from the moment he got busted on that wire tap. Woodward did what any AD would have done given the uncertainty of the situation. If he made a bad decision, it was the hire he made, not the firing

I can’t believe people are even still debating firing Wade. Was the right move 100/100 times. McMahon has laid an egg his first year, but he was also dealing with a 100% gut and rebuild with a black cloud over everything and a school where football will always be king.

His fricking AD should have protected him! There should be no separation in this situation. Everyone at LSU should have been in unison protecting the program. Crumble because of yahoo articles and Dick Vitale? Has anybody watched what has been to the coaches and programs that were mentioned in the rams wire taps? Jack fricking shite is what. But no we fired our coach instead of supporting him.

This is simply false. McMahon won 31 games and made the second round of the tournament last season. He was one of the two “hottest” hires during the off-season. Scott targeted him and waited for them to lose.
This is just bad coaching.
