All kinds of illegal activity. Drugs, cash, etc. They are lined up for miles at the border waiting to get in. Just sitting ion the side of the road. Looks like 5 mile long junk yard. Viva de Mexico!!!!! ????

My favorite part of all this is that it's such a sketchy thing to allow on the interstates in the same state that require "inspection stickers" for vehicles to be legal on our roads.
My 2017 Mustang GT failed inspection because of window tint, but every other day I'd pass numerous $2k cars towing two other larger vehicles that on a good night have brake lights.

Every so often I see a Toyota truck and think, damn that's not a bad looking truck. Sometimes they are wrecked with the body panels to fix in the bed. It's like a restoration gift box.

Auction cars going to Mexico. It's pretty amazing to see a 4cyl front wheel drive car tow two cars behind it.

Mexico has some busted up cars driving around. You see so many hoopties.

At least the law made them stop stuffing junk cars/trucks inside a gutted school bus. The browns could get 4 at once that way and the last one would be hanging about halfway out the rear of the bus. If you've never seen this, it was frickin scary running up behind one on the interstate late at night.

There aren’t auctions closer, like in Texas?

Yep, they hit those up too. The closer you get to the border towns, the more of the small convoys you will see. Like just about anything dealing with Mexicans, they are trying like hell to earn a living any way they can.

They are most definitely going to Mexico. I know several used car dealers and every now and then a few Mexicans show up. They usually want vans or trucks. He could offload every minivan to them he could get even if the engines were full of liquid glass as well as 20-50 oil and STP to mask noises.

They're bringing them to Mexico

I have a Guatemalan that works for me that takes trucks back home a few times a year. He said getting through Mexico is a challenge. He's been robbed by gangs and had his trucks taken by crooked cops. He says he's at about a 66% success rate, but it's worth it because he can sell older Toyota trucks in Guatemala for a frick-ton. He chalks it up to the cost of doing business.

Most of the ones you see in BR are coming from a big auction house in Tennessee.

I once took a cab in Cozumel that had a love seat as a front seat. It had a 3 inch pipe attached to the b pillars holding it up right.

Yep, shitty cars abound.

In Cozumel I rented a "dune Buggy" that was a 4 door ford focus with the roof cut off and a home made windshield installed. Totally worth $40 for 6 hours.
