Accidentally Made The Best Biscuits I’ve Ever Had Last Night

Only had 1/4 cup of vegetable shortening, but needed 1/2 cup. Instead of stopping what I was doing and running to the store, I called an audible and added 1/4 cup of my Wagyu beef tallow to the 1/4 cup Crisco. Nice crisp outside and super-flaky moist inside. Will definitely do it that way again.

I cannot make biscuits well, but another option is mayonnaise.

So, you replaced Crisco with one of the good honest traditional fats Proctor and Gamble engineered Crisco to replace.

FYI, lard will do the same thing, albeit won’t increase your baller status.
