Am I the A-Hole? Calling code enforcement on a neighbor for junk car parked on street

I haven't done it yet, but I'm about to.
There's been a car parked in the street for several months now. It was up on a jack at one point, but they finally got the tire changed after being on that jack for weeks. But the car hasn't moved. Trashy appearance for the neighborhood.
Worse, it's on a blind curve which makes it dangerous.
The owner of the house is an old lady. She has a driveway and a garage. There's no reason to have an abandoned car on the street. Also, she's not living alone, there are other people that live there with her, some extended family (I assume) that showed up around the same time, I expect it is their car.

If it’s an old lady neighbor, maybe go over and offer to help?
Push it in the driveway or maybe even get it started for them

Am I the only person that actually talks to neighbors if I have a problem with them? ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Whatever happened with talking to people. You guys are such babies now days that you can't have a simple conversation. If she is an older lady maybe asking her to help her or talking to her about it would be the best thing. Maybe she needs someone to help her instead of being douchey and calling Code enforcement. Come on and man up. Reach out and show your neighbor some love.

I’d probably ask her if she needed help before I call it in on her.

Yall missed the part where I said she had other people living with her, who appear to be quite able-bodied.
Secondly, my interactions with this lady in the past have been negative.
Thirdly, I think I have been quite patient, waiting for months, not weeks, but months, for this car to move.

If it was a next-door neighbor, sure, I'm good with all them. But this house is like 12 doors down. There's no relationship there.

No. Call it in I say
I complained several times about a storm-damaged house that was never touched and they finally tore it down a few weeks ago at the owner's expense. Now I am waiting for the parish to take ownership of the lot when the owners never pay back the demo so I can hopefully buy the lot.

Every destroyed neighborhood was a nice new one at one time. Once you start seeing unmowed grass, broken down cars, or peeling paint you have to either move or say something. They only turn to shitholes when people do neither.

This would be a complete bitch move to do if you don't at least to talk to that old lady first and ask about it.
