A More Perfect Union - Breaking up US into smaller nation states

In his new book, political analyst and author Alexander Moss recently explored the possibility of a dramatic future break-up of U.S. states in what might be the last chance to save an extremely divided nation from another Civil War. In "A More Perfect Union," Moss gives a cogent and detailed look at the idea of splitting the U.S. into a series of independent regional nations, forming a federation similar to the European Union. The general idea is not a new one, nor is it completely radical – for some time now, secession has been a serious topic of discussion for regions such as the South, Texas, and California in the west. But after recent political tensions boiled over into the first-ever U.S. election-coup attempt in January of 2021, Moss's unique angle on such a breakup is now both important and timely.
Minus the gay election coup bs, at some point the US will absolutely break into smaller nation states. I have about as much in common with people on the West Coast and Northeast as an Italian does with a German or Spaniard. It’s time to start the process.

Don’t think Texas would be ok being handed three liabilities

Uh, this is part of the Fallout lore. States were merged into "commonwealths".
Great, let's add another layer of government and bureaucracy!

Speaking on behalf of Texas, "No, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, you may NOT be our girlfriends."

That's inviting China to take their place as the preeminent World power.

It would be Texas, Oklahoma, Arky, Louisiana, Miss, Bama, GA, FLA, SC, NC, TN, KY, and WV in one collective.

That will happen regardless. It’s not if, it’s when. What’s not guaranteed is a 2nd Civil War, which would be nice.

I propose a merger of the Texas faction and the Florida faction. We can call it the New South or something.

No thank you to Nevada and Colorado. California can have them. New Mexico is pushing it.

Get us as far away from Miss and Bama as possible

You’re in Baton Rouge?

I suspect they’ll agree to that.

It doesn't work now. We've given space to a certain group and each time there is a move to make a suburb well outside, the other just follows right along.

It would certainly make their work easier.
Even without globalist asshats, this would be doomed to fail unless there were massive WALLS around each zone.
Progfilth migration. They are incapable of letting people be.

Who else are we gonna take...If I can get cheap hunting/fishing licenses for LA in the new union...then let's do it.
Also between TX/LA we would own nearly 100% of all LNG exports and a very high majority of refinery output.
Talk about major commodity control.

I would bet Missouri, Ohio and Indiana would want in on it.
