No it isn’t. He was physically assaulted by the kid. He was repeatedly punched and pushed. He pushed the kid away… hard, but that’s all he did.

Here’s what the story said.

“The background post stated police came and watched the video and asked the man if he wanted to press charges but he didn’t.”

So, not only did he handle it appropriately, but he could have pressed charges against the kid.

Then…

“The mother reportedly arrived and everyone apologized and sorted the incident out until a few hours later when the mother posted a short clip to Facebook of the man pushing her boy only, with his details including name and address.”

Well , we can see why that kid turned out that way.

frick that. The man made every reasonable attempt to walk away and that little fricker wouldn’t quit. Only other option would be to put him down and hold him and everyone would bitch about that as well.

Kid may have deserved it.

I wouldn't have reacted like that.

I had some teenager with Downs attack me one time. In a nice house uptown. I was in the basement. I had no idea kid was even there. Mom comes upstairs and ManBearPig comes out of no where screaming at me. The dude started punching me. But very very softly. Like just doing karate forms style hits. I could see what his issue was. So I gave him a cordless screwdriver with no bit on it and asked him to help me. By the time the mom came back. The kid was saying "go way mom, I got a job" . It was pretty cool.

I remember this, I didn't know it happened in Louisiana. While the 10 year old was acting like a little brat and punk.. The adult should have handled it like an adult the second the kid squared up to him.

When he was just ignoring the kid and allowing him to stand around him, that's when he became more of an equal to that kid. And being short, the best thing is to establish dominance right away like an adult.

Tell the kid "son, lets talk about this. Get him to the picnic table, have him sit down so that he is looking up at you and then address the issue.

He might be some 10 year old from a fricked up family and all he wants is some attention, but he allowed the kid to get on equal terms with him. With that said, I have been attacked by a 4 year old girl and her twin sisters who were almost 3 at the time. I was able to grab a balloon and distract them by telling them the first one who got it is the winner.

That’s all I have to say about that.

I don't understand why this has so many downvotes.. Well, then again, about 80% of the OT are idiots and wouldn't comprehend having to establish dominance right way, but you are 100% correct.

I would’ve went back to the cops and press charges if that mother did that.

"He's a nice kid."

Followed by kid saying

"frick you, you whore!"

Good stuff, wish the kid list a tooth or something, but oh well.

in the days before everyone had a camera in their pocket, the man probably goes to jail, loses his job, probably gets an arse whipping, has his life ruined because the kid "dindu nuffin" and the man just attacked him for no reason.

Yeah that prob would’ve worked with this kid. They should’ve also held hands and ate cupcakes while sitting on a rainbow. Good grief man be realistic, this isn’t a hallmark movie.

Even if that is the case it doesn’t excuse that behavior. According to the story he sounds like a spoiled brat whose never been told no in his life or ever received any sort of discipline.
