I can’t fault the guy for doing what he believes is best for himself. Can’t pull for him either, obviously. But some of you people are being pretty hateful.

Please stop. Name calling 19 year olds? so childish.

I’m sorry, but 19 years old is not a child anymore. He makes a public decision, he gets public backlash. He’s a young man at 19.

I'm also kind of glad he didn't go to TCU as well. Don't want them getting a majority of our transfers or local athletes.

Haha judging from the rumors surrounding Jamarcus and his time in Oakland there isn’t an OC in history that could’ve done anything with him.

The potential of this actually happening is what has the overwhelming majority of posters bashing him on here concerned about.

What about the transfers we got from other schools? Are they soft too?

Who cares! It's going to be a rough time for him if we ever play him lol! He needs to think about quitting and transferring again before that happens.

People simply have no sense of shame anymore.

Transferring in conference to a rival program is such a low character move.

I would be more concerned had he went to Alabama or even Auburn.

Dart was ok, but not great this season. Next season will be his third. So it's likely he either decides to enter the draft or doesn't perform well enough to secure the starting job for the following year.

There is a big difference between getting second team reps and third team. Howard probably left because he didn’t want to run scout team in his second year. Plus, he is looking at not starting at LSU until his 5th year. He is a year ahead of that at Ole Miss - at worst.

If he lives up to the hype, he’ll tear it up in that offense.

Possibly, but he could easily be starting after his 2nd year in the program as well. It's not unheard of in this type of situation. I think he could still win the job after two years. And if he didn't get the job head to head with Nuss then he could still transfer and play right away.

Oh well.
