The bill would also criminalize "criticism of non-white people which influences an individual to commit a hate crime."

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) introduced a House Bill criminalizing “conspiracy to commit white supremacy,” which includes criticism of non-white people which influences an individual to commit a hate crime.
The legislation, H.R.61 “Leading Against White Supremacy Act of 2023,” introduced last Monday by Democratic congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, seeks to “prevent and prosecute white supremacy inspired hate crime and conspiracy to commit white supremacy inspired hate crime.”

I truly believe she is the dumbest person in congress, and when you add her blatant hate speech and racism I just can't see how black people keep electing her. I thought blacks hated racism and exclusion but I am obviously wrong.

Can I introduce a bill to criminalize conspiracy to commit black supremacy I bet that bill would get shut down real quick. It'll be a great day when that old hag croaks over.

Some do, some do only when it negatively impacts them ( but want it when they think it benefits them).

If she shut her stupid mouth and acted like a decent human being, she'd reduce tendencies toward "white supremacy."

She should just be glad that there’s no law called a Conspiracy To Be an Ignorant Racist F*cking C*nt Act.

Just like most inner city Congressmen, they have paid their community leaders off and have a stranglehold on the people. She talks her shite and yet does nothing for her district.
There was a really intelligent, young, black man that ran against her a few years ago that many felt was her strongest challenge yet. He was a little more moderate and could articulate his positions well and was very bright. He had some momentum and play on the news and she still smoked him by double digits

Lol. That woman who isn't a doctor, on the USSC, is likely to approve.
In fairness, it does seem artfully and narrowly tailored to avoid any First Amendment violations.

Why can't we have basic intelligence requirements for public office?
How about penalties for introducing legislation that would violate civil rights.....
Oh that's right, it would be racist and/or white supremacy.
