They should be cutting checks, NOW! This is a truly disgusting situation....pay the people who keep you safe!

It’s funny ppl think those will come back. If you served a day in the military you know these dudes aren’t coming back.

Exactly - Nazi’s were just following orders.

We drug our feet in my command. Stuff got stuck at every echelon....at legal...kicked back for corrections...then stuck at legal again. They are all still in....some of them kept asking what their exemption status was. We couldnt say "stop asking we are sitting on it".

Nice job, seriously. You either worked around an O-6 or O-7 or you have one with balls, and while those still exist at O-6 they're damned rare at the O-7 level. They're more prevalent in the reserves because it's not always their main source of income, but salud either way.

I love this. People get all hot and bothered about Supreme Court cases. Meanwhile random battalions are addressing the issue by accidentally misspelling shite and spilling coffee all over "important" documents. You should probably hit pause on the whole process and discuss corrective actions

Im an O-5 co-located with the next higher O-6. After that it goes to a 2 star at a different location. This started before I got here. But once I got here I saw the list and also grasped pretty quickly that no one wanted to kick Soldiers out but also couldn't be open about it. We just kept dragging our feet at every opportunity.
The Soldiers pending exemptions are awesome by they way. Im proud that everyone involved found a way to look the other way or found other priorities to focus on.

I'm still taking credit for this. When I'm elected, I'm still going after those responsible in the military chain of command. Mandating an experimental vaccine is a strong candidate for Art93 consideration.

They shouldn't have to come back to get back pay from when they were discharged.
The damn government talks about frickin reparation payments for people who were never slaves (which is absolute BS). The troops damn sure should get back pay for every day since they were discharged...as should civilian employees that were fired for same reason. But,that will never happen.

Even more disgusting is how that hubris prick John Kirby and the Pentagon completely shitcanned any and all exemptions (religious, medical, philosophical) that the troops tried to present. I would bet that less than 1% accomodations were made for the troops.

One of the most infuriating themes I’ve seen from libs is that they don’t want them back because their “refusal to follow orders” and “disobedience to a direct command” makes them poor troops.

No, but it does make them unlikely to be a liberal.

I had already picked up a deployment when the mandate came out. Those of you not familiar if with deployments that would've screwed someone else in my unit and they'd have less than a month to get ready. Otherwise I'd be one of those 8400. Hell I got Covid before the stupid vaccine was shoved down our throats. My wife knows that if a booster requirement came out then I'd get the axe. Deployment is done so I really don't give a frick about future mandates.

How are the people that got kicked out of the military keeping you safe
I'm ok with some back pay for those that re-enlist if that's even a possibility
And maybe a small severance for those that got kicked out
But that's it. Anything else is stupid.

You kinda suck. If not back pay, they deserve a separation status change.

Back pay is not as important as getting patriots back into the army.
And removing vaccine requirements.
And removing vaccine requirements.
