Saints have nothing to lose by letting Sean sweat another year. Whoever Payton let’s know he wants to be their head coach will immediately be too emotionally invested to fold. We’re in the drivers seat if we can just be smart.

Sean is still young and has a lot of years left in him. When it goes public that he wants to go to either the Cards, Broncos, or Texans, pressure is on for those teams to not let a hall of fame caliber coach slip away over a draft pick.

Don’t be dumb Mickey. If it doesn’t work out you can get any of the proposed packages next year anyway.

WORST case. We will get Arizona’s #3.

Again, half of fame coach. You know how many top 5 draft picks flop? Coach with proven track record is worth more.

More like to get two fist.

I think getting a first is possible because the league would frown as would the other owners for lowering the value of a coach under contract.

Could create holdouts and such?

But I have never thought the Front Office would hold Sean for Ransom. At the end of the day it is a business, but Gayle and Loomis are always going to come across like they are wishing Sean well.

While us fans can feel somewhat shafted by his one year break and getting Dennis Allen.

Except draft capital, which we desperately need.

It’s funny, if you go read fan forums for the teams he’s talking to, they think there’s no way their teams will give up top compensation. Some of them think they’ll give up a package slightly better than what Arians went for.

I think we land somewhere in the middle…. Like 1 mid to late 1st and some change. Or a 2nd this year and a future 1st.

You’re going to be very disappointed. I have lost all faith in Loomis for keeping Allen so I think he’s going to take one first round pick for Sean regardless of where it is. If it’s Denver it will be at the end of the 1st. Arizona isn’t giving them 3 so get that out of your head. I would take Denver’s late 1st if they included their 2nd round pick for 2024.

If the Cowboys lose on Monday, Jenny McCarthy’s cousin will be fired.

Jerry will do what it takes to get Payton.

We ain’t getting two firsts.

We would be incredibly lucky to get Arizona’s 3rd or Houston’s 12. INCREDIBLY LUCKY

If Cards wanna give up their third, I would keep negotiating cause you gotta do your job, but know that I’m perfectly fine just getting that pick. I don’t see that happening. But, maybe a SB winning coach known as offensive/qb genius is worth that pick. And Cards already have their qb.
