Well, well well. Look who is trying to establish his RINO street cred for his post governor political future.
I'm sure they can't wait to hear all about "conservative governance and individual liberty".

quote:

Gov. Brian Kemp likes to tout how his smart shepherding of state resources and track record landing major economic development projects helped make Georgia a success story during the pandemic. He’s about to get a chance to tell that story on an international stage. Kemp’s office announced Wednesday he will be addressing the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, next week. “Governor Kemp looks forward to traveling to Davos to share with leaders how the state of Georgia’s long record of conservative governance, protecting individual liberty, and championing opportunity can serve as a model for economic success across the country and around the world,” a Kemp spokesperson said Wednesday

quote:

The World Economic Forum, established in 1971, brings together decision-makers from across the globe to share strategies and inform each other on policy initiatives around the world. The annual event is a Who’s Who of global political and business leaders, economists and other academics. This year’s list of attendees includes former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, 2004 Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry – now the Biden administration’s special envoy for climate – FBI Director Christopher Wray, a sprinkling of corporate CEOs, and several other governors, congressmen, and U.S. senators. Kemp’s office did not release details of the trip Wednesday or Kemp’s planned remarks.

Depends on if it’s election season.

What’s clear in Georgia is that they will only allow RNC approved candidates for state level offices to win.

Interesting. Kemp defied the WHO during Covid and was right there with DeSantis in Governors who reopened quickly.

Kemp had been a strong proponent of gun rights.

I’m interested is what he will say. I don’t think he will push for any loss of personal freedom nor more regulation in the name of climate change.

That's great and all, but what are representatives of the American people doing hanging out with despots?

Why Christopher Wray, or any FBI Director feels the need to be at this type of gathering is alarming.

That SOB needs to be focused on his bureau in the U.S., not hobnobbing with WEF types.

There's a reason he was invited, and it probably has nothing to do with his wit and charm.

That piece of shite sold this state down the river when he let Dominion take over our elections. They made him a two-term governor in exchange for his support and as described above they whacked his daughter's boyfriend to keep his arse in line in the aftermath of the 2020 election rigging investigation here in Georgia.

Georgia's elections will forever be controlled thanks to his sorry arse. In a few more election cycles this place will be California. frick that guy.

Technically he still is...

Fat Stacy would have Thanksgiving Day floats if she won...even tho they play for the same team.

Kemp is running for Ossof’s Senate seat in 4 years.

McConnell has tapped him for it. They’ve already been having meetings and visits in DC concerning it.

I heard an interview with a guy that is going to try to report on this event. Mostly a fly on the wall type of things as he knows most major things are secret meetings, and not what are said out in public forums.

He said a crappy room starts at $5k a night, so he had to find a room in at a home near by and is paying over $1k a night.

Would be great if someone FOIA'd Kemp's trip expense report.

Hell, he's probably tapped for the Presidency representing the GOP uniparty candidate in place of De Santis
