Allen is not getting fired. If he was we would know today or tomorrow. He isn't. (I sincerely hope that this gets quoted to show how wrong I was.)

Carmichael will go join CSP wherever he lands and we will need to make a good hire at OC.

You have the ability to draft a franchise QB, lots of picks, cap space, and a desperate ownership group probably willing to pay you a ton and give you total control. It’s not a bad gig, I’d take it over Denver

Arizona also fired the GM, you have Sean’s attention now

you'd also think you'd rather wager money on Murray than Russ Wilson at this point of careers for next 5-10 years.

He brings in Khai as the GM but really a numbers guy giving CSP total control (which would also give us a compensatory 3rd in the future).

Yeah, some are waaaaayyyy overvaluing Sean or I'm waaayyy undervaluing him. Top 5 pick? Not without sending something back with Sean

Saints fire Allen, hire someone like Shane Steichen

Arizona gives us #3 for CSP

Saints trade up using #3 and future 1sts etc with Bears to get Bryce Young.

Profit

(these are fantasies that will not happen, I am aware)

-Saints fire Allen, hire someone like Shane Steichen
-Arizona gives us #3 for CSP
-Bears draft Bryce Young
-Bears trade Justin Fields to Saints for next year's 1st
-Saints draft Will Anderson at 3 or lots of other options.

Albert Breer reported that Sean would likely want Jeff Ireland or Ryan Pace. I don't think he would have included Pace if he was just listing Saints FO members. He clearly is thinking personnel guys.

I wish he'd take Harley and let us keep Ireland but I doubt it.

I am honestly not THAT enamored with Ireland anymore. I'd be ok with bringing in or promoting fresh blood.

Great ownership and Front Office.

He would get to pick his FO in Houston (although from interviews it kinda sounds like he wants an already good one in place), but the ownership in Houston is notoriously bad, or at least that is the league perception.

Cowboys looked pitiful yesterday. If they lose as the favorite this week at TB, could they make a move?

GB has had A Rod, usually the concensus #1 QB, year in and year out with 1 SB win.

Its not Madden is it?

Ehhh idk man, Ireland has found some gems since he’s been here. I’d like to keep Ireland as the personnel guy and khai as the money.

We just need an offensive coordinator at minimum.

I’m not saying it will be Houston or that they will even be in the room, but I sometimes think we underestimate the lengths these rich people will go in order to win.

All that to say, Sean Payton will negotiate what he wants in terms of money & control. All it will really take is someone getting out of the way.

The actual football stuff is more complicated (compensation, money, QB, draft picks)

I mean benson didn't exactly have the best rep when he started here...

truth is, if Sean goes there and wins, just like here they'll treat him as if he hung the moon and then he can pretty much do whatever the frick he wants.

Now compare that with Jerrah or even the new owners in Denver, they probably won't be as grateful in the lean times.
