Meh. His defense gave up 40+ points in all three of those games. He's the best player in college football and it's not even close.

Duggan’s defense gave up 45 points

Don’t forget biggest Douche award. Barely edged out Stetson Bennett IV.

On MSB's most hated team in this board's most hated state.

Sounds about right.

He'll be wasted at USC if they don't fix the defense.

Everyone knows why USC lost to Tulane...and it wasn't the guy with all the accolades.

If USC has an average defense in 2023, they are a CFP team no question.

But that defense in the CB was morbid.

Can't really blame him for crying about that defense. Then again, that's what he gets for following Lincoln Riley.

I get that the Def gave up the quick TD but that was really one long play. The special teams fumbles on the one.... The offense gave up a safety ... And it wasn't close.

Subtle lost to Tulane line at the end. Love it.

Murray also seems a little awkward, with a hint of autistic traits.

Caleb Williams has no excuses.

He is a good player and will likely deserve those accolades next year as I expect USC to be even better, but I would have probably gone with the TCU kid this year.
Why is he coming back? He could sit a year and still be a first rounder.

They seem terrible for much different reasons.

Murray seems like an introvert who doesn’t care about anything or anyone. Just the opposite of what you’d want as the face of your organization.

Williams seems douchey and cocky beyond belief.

So Tom Brady. Which is sorta kinda what you want. There's the fan perspective and front office perspective of what makes an athlete successful.

I don't know why ppl have this opinion though.

He knows his defense is a thorn in his side but he never threw them under the bus.

I agree.

I haven’t watched enough of William to even be bothered by him being the way he is. And I nearly finished the sentence about him with, “and you can sure as hell win with that.”

And he should easily be able figure out a nice mix of cocky and confident and make it work in an NFL locker room.
