If you go .25 speed at 8 second mark, he clearly secured the catch before the ball crosses the goal line.

If you play it backwards and turn the brightness up 36% you can see Bigfoot on the sideline.

Nothing overturns when he has full possession in that video

imagine if you applied this standard to every single play/spotting of the ball
horrible call and the exact opposite of what replay should be. ruins the game for players and fans

Now add 2 yards to the fricked up spot. What do you get then?
And don't get me wrong, I think it's hilarious, but they got fricked on that TD.

TCU - 21
UM - 6
Refs - 7
It’s clearly a TD, not sure on what planet that call could actually be overturned

I started a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. To add insult to injury, apparently the refs spotted the ball back two yards after the Michigan INT the previous play.
The inexact science of spotting a football is overlooked 95% of a time. Suddenly on goal or inches to go, we review intently or bring out chains…and index cards?

he clearly secured the catch
THIS DOESNT MATTER
His knee was clearly down outside the EZ when he first came in contact with the ball. He can no longer advance it beyond that spot.
If he legally could, then every WR in the nation would bobble the ball to themselves while down, and then get up and run with it. Or bobble it to a fellow WR from the ground. Since it wasnt secured and all

No one is buying that.
That's a TD in 100 years of football.
Only now we have technology to slo-mo down everything which micro-contradicts physics.
So the minute his hands touched the ball that's a catch?
While going to the ground you have to have complete control or take 3 steps and make a football move?

You call also see on the INT the previous play, textbook pass interference from Michigan which led to the pick. So if we are saying the refs stole a TD, it was after they gifted an INT, let it go.

These refs are bad. I don't even think they are bias.

Unsecured:
Secured:
Ball clearly visible short of goal line
Notice how they didn’t show that angle during halftime

The only thing in that photo that is "clearly visible" is that he plays for Michigan.

There aint nothing clear about that shite. This is SEC refs fricking up, again.

You think that’s the entire ball?

There’s no need to debase yourself bro. Just take the bad call and own it. You’re about to be in the national title game

See the brown thing secured in his arm, short of the goal line? That’s a football

I am of the opinion that college football needs to go by the, you’re not down until touched, rule. Just like the NFL.
