That’s because the meteorologists don’t know how to market this for the news media. Thunderstorm Thor hits SE Louisiana leaving up to 20 inches of rain in New Orleans would attract eyeballs.

I hope people in here are making fun of people like dr Josh and not our wonderful tigerdroppings meteorologists. I’ll never understand why they get shite on for just trying to keep us aware.

You do realize that the 3 or 4 that post the threads are legitimate and have actual weather training, don’t you? There are several others that might be amateurs, but there are absolutely legitimate sources of info in those threads.

It was more than heavy rain. Street lights, trees, and road signs blown down in Blowmont this morning. It was like a tropical storm came through super fast.
