Detroit/Orlando fight

Saw the Magic/Pistons fight. Coach of the Pistons, and leader of men Dwane Casey witnessed his players jump a single player who wasn’t looking, clearly was trying to avoid a fight, and of course Casey does the honorable thing and puts all the blame on the other team.
If I’m the Magic coach and I see what Casey said, I 100% say on camera “tell Dwane Casey to go frick himself”. Hayes sucker punched a guy behind the head while his teammate was holding the guy.
Even violent combat sports it’s illegal to hit behind the head. Then Wagner is unconscious and Stewart tosses him to the ground. Dwane Casey; “well their guys came off the bench punish them”.

No matter how it began or concluded, an intentional “sucker punch” forearm to the back of the head resulting in a KO has to be a massive suspension.

Barely touched him. Was trying to stop Hayes from getting to ball and momentum sent Hayes into the bench. Wasn’t even that bad.
I tell you what though, if I’m on the bench and I see my teammate getting jumped, I don’t give a frick about some stupid don’t get off the bench rule.
A bump during game action isn’t equal to hitting someone behind the head(most dangerous place to get hit) while your teammate is holding that person.
At least 4 different Pistons players put their hands on Wagner before he got swallowed up by them while unconscious, and Dwane Casey out here talking about Magic players coming off the bench.

The frick are you talking about. After Wagner was unconscious Stewart was like “frick this guy” and let him fall to the bench lol. He kinda just tossed him aside.

Ultimately I think the suspensions for this will be pretty light (even if a large number for the Magic, these will be 1 game suspensions, I bet). I don’t think Stewart did anything to get a suspension.
Hayes is the exception and he should get double digit games for his suspension

The Pistons player tried to cut in front of Wagner and got hip checked into the bench.
The guy lost his mind and hit him in the back of the head like some thug in street fight.
Pistons player deserves a 30 game suspension.
This is a watershed moment for the league. They need to come down hard on this senseless crap.

What they gonna suspend Wagner for? The guy running into him? They gave him a Flagrant foul for that which is laughable.

I think they will suspend the Magic bench players who came over for 1 game each.
They will be rotated over 3-4 games though.
Killian Hayes should (and will) get more than everyone else combined.

Second viewing I think Wagner gets 2-3 games.
He did make a movement to slightly bump the guy, but he was running full speed trying to cut him off toward the bench. He was hitting the bench either way.
Wasn't much or a bump to be honest.

You know if it would have gotten out of hand that PA guy would have been screaming "Victor Wembanyama". Kind of hilarious if it cost them their first round pick.
