Just got a message warning me to change my flight 3 days in advance because they can’t guarantee it happens. Lol wtf is going on with them? 3,000+ flights canceled just today. I get weather screws travel up for everyone but it seems like SW has been a major clusterfrick and even more so than their competitors. Shame too cuz in my experience it always seemed like they were one of the more reliable airlines

I would imagine that the destination makes a large difference. As well as where the equipment from your flight has to arrive from.

Cheap airline that doesn’t invest in its own infrastructure

My daughter flew Southwest from Long Beach to Austin on Dec. 23 and is still Austin. Told her no flights to New Orleans until today at least. No reason except crews not available.

She totally missed Christmas here in BR and is headed back to Long Beach tomorrow. A real bummer.

She celebrated Christmas with old friends in Austin.

If you have have a connecting flight at the Denver airport, pick a different flight away from that place. Have never had a flight go smoothly there.

I'm going to TikTok to see all of the live stream fights breakout at the airports over this.

My SWA experience today.

I was supposed to fly out of STL to HOU today.

Cancelled. Cannot reach anyone on the phone (some people are holding for 4-5 hours), not auto rebooked, cannot get anything online until Friday, and I have no idea where my checked bags from today’s flight are.

I made the executive decision to get a rental from enterprise in nola and drive all the way back to home in texas.

All SWA flights from msy canceled for tomorrow as well and rumors that they aren’t going to be able to clear the “backlog” for several days.

Flying back home from Indianapolis to MSY on Saturday, Dec. 31st. I wonder if my flight will be canceled.

Anyone who flies enough and pays attention realized southwest has been going down hill the past few years. They barely offer non stops and are hardly ever the affordable option. Sometimes it seems like a coin flip that your flight will be on time.

This. They used to be solid if you were willing to put up with their cheap bullshite. Now, they are horrific.

I’m sure y’all were bummed, but I’m betting she had more fun with her friends.

They lost too many pilots due to vax requirements. Now it’s biting them in the arse.

I was supposed to use SWA miles for my trip to the LSU bowl game in Orlando. Looks like I'm going to have to change to another airline...
