Currently just going to rely on Uber. Is that the best bet?

Airtrain directly from terminal to EWR station, then NJ transit to NY Penn Station

This. Then when you walk out of Penn Station it's 3 minute walk to Pizza Suprema for a slice

The train to Penn Station will be faster than an Uber, and lot cheaper. But I suppose it depends on where in Manhattan you are going.

Operational meltdown. Ramp workers supposedly called out sick yesterday to the point they didn't have any ramp workers to offload luggage or tow planes in/out of gates. Avoid southwest for a bit especially if you need to get anywhere

We just take one of the shuttle vans to and from the hotel. You can buy round trip tickets at the airport.

Times Square. We have some luggage I dont care to lug around train stations. Rather a private car.

Just wasn’t sure if the Uber area for Newark is a shite show. Isn’t there construction or is that another NYC airport?

Car service, uber or cab from Newark, its about the same as every other big airport as far as pick-up goes.

If you are not taking the train make sure to use the bathroom before calling your ride, depending on the time of day its gonna take a while to get to Times Square.

This. You can download the NJ Transit app and buy your ticket that way so you don't have to stop at a machine.

last time I went I stayed in the Newark Hilton. They were connected to the train station and went directly into Penn Station.
