I have several companies so I’m always getting resumes and when I see this foolishness I automatically deem the candidate to be a high liability hire and their resume goes in the trash.

They'll sue your arse for some PC bullshite. This is a smart move for almost anyone.

If I see pronouns in email signature/linkedin profile or resume I do not communicate with that person. It's a great way to filter out the weirdo's.
Another tip: imediately throw away half of all resumes before reading them to filter out unlucky people.

I'm thankful for these things. Lets me know who to avoid.

Ah, the pronoun people. Not a fan of the approach with the he, she, him, her crowd.

They go immediately into the recycle bin.
As you should.

I wonder if this would pass muster

Only if your name is (Pat, Chris, Morgan, Charlie, Alex)

They do have some utility. If you have a name that “goes both ways”, it’s helpful in an email for people who’ve never seen you.
But Jack with the full beard on LinkedIn can F off with the he/his bullshite.

I think it's pretty strange as well.

When I get an email from someone with these I cringe.
Half my company seems to have that or the "Safe Space Ally" in their little creative design.
I won't lie. The men who have that listed there I don't respect and actively avoid. I wish I could have a graphic that said "Danger Zone" in response.

Anyone who lists their "pronouns" are going to be higher maintenance and likely to overreact to things normal people wouldnt. Not pleasant, team players.
These people are fine for fast food and restaurant work where turnover is high.

bingo.
my management hasn’t forced it on everyone, but i feel it’s coming. They send out a quarterly PSA of “how to set your pronouns on Zoom”

I for one appreciate seeing it. It makes it easier for me to know who to leave off of my project team when I am assigning roles for the projects I manage.

Only self centered, insecure but proud of their insecurity snowflakes put pronouns in their signature.
I do business with one law firm that everybody there does it. I hope it is some company policy and not some friggin firm full of wimps.

I think some large companies require it, unfortunately. That would be a good way to lose some employees IMO
