Derek Stingley Jr is done for the season. Placed on IR today

Derek Stingley Jr was placed on IR with a hamstring injury by the Houston Texans.
DSting played in 9 games in 2022 with 43 tackles (35 solo), 1 sack, 1 pick & 5 passes defensed.
I hope the young man can get healthy in the offseason and continue to improve as he progresses in the NFL.

I want him to do well, but he is injury prone. Hopefully, he can be in the NFL to set himself up for the remainder of his life.

Great kid and an even better player. Sad that some on here feel the need to hate him because he chose not to play through injury, especially in a lost season under Ed.

It’s not like it matters, the Texans would probably even loose to the saints. They are probably packing it in to ensure they get the top pick. But on the other hand, Sting hasn’t been healthy since we beat Clemson if he is really hurt

Those numbers suggest to me that nobody is really throwing his direction when he’s in the game.
