Canik TP9SF

For 2 years I had been watching reviews, reading articles, and talking to gun shop owners and those who own them. I had heard nothing but praise, so I finally purchased one. From the moment I first held it at the store, I knew it felt perfect in my hand. I shot it today for the first time. I haven't been this accurate since my active days in the USMC. Everything about this handgun is amazingly well done, especially the trigger. By far the best stock trigger I've ever used.

I highly recommend it!

Anyone else own one? Thoughts?

I like the TP9SFX. Held one several times and can get on gunbuyer.com for $525

Thank for reminding me of my next handgun purchase

The Canik Mete SFT is my go to pistol now, absolutely love it. Also have the pro version which is even a little nicer to shoot and comes with a threaded barrel.

I have an unfired SFX I'm going to sell, the SFT is the perfect size for me.

I own 3 Caniks

If you like the trigger on the SF, Go to a gun store and pull the trigger on the Canik Rival. It will be your next handgun

cousin has an OG canik 9. I bet he's put north of a thousand rounds through it, and I'm not sure he's cleaned it thoroughly. Been pondering a tp9sf since they released.

I own two. My opinion they are great. Prices have been climbing on them over the last year. We have sold many. Trigger is much better than the Glock or Sig...not counting the P320 Legion X5. I always show them to customers considering a handgun purchase.

i've only shot mine once. when my 10 yr old shot a few rounds, they had some rounds that didn't fully eject, i think he was limp wristing or something.

I have seen and shot them at a local shooting range. They seem pretty good. I also see the Palmetto State Armory Daggers for similar cost and went that route for a RDS compact. It is another low cost option. Don't think you could go wrong with either gun.

After I changed that stiff spring…recoil tamed…it’s a lil heavy but accurate and reliable. Great fit…It has replaced the glock as my main squeeze.

I have a Canik TPN sc and it's a great gun. I really enjoy it. Two of my friends got them too.

I got a Swamp Fox optic for it and dialed it in with a bore sight and the gun is so accurate is like cheating.

Really appreciate all the info in this post. This gun intrigued me initially from its look and had read about it a little. Figured for the price a year or two ago it would be a fun range gun, mostly because how many 9mm does a person need! I have been sitting tight for whatever next purchase struck my fancy. This makes me feel like a no brainer to add to the collection. Thanks to all that contributed!
