Hayes has been huge. Especially with Hills struggles.
We can't lose him for an extended period of time.

What happened to Wilkinson, He's brought nothing of late.

Wilk doesn't really seem to fit what the staff wants. Real bummer, but is what it is.

McMahon started Cam in place of Wilk tonight and it looks like Justice Williams took most of his minutes off the bench. Maybe it was a matchup situation maybe Wilk is losing ground to others. We can’t lose Hayes, the offense is so much better wheh he’s running things. He’s such a huge talent upgrade over Hill or Hannibal and he’s also a very good rebounder and defensive player. Right now he and Williams are the engine driving the teams improvement.

Biggest problem with mwani, is he isnt on a team of shooters. He cant play much because he just adds another non shooter on the court with guys like hannibal and hill

Wilk is actually a good spot up shooter, 41.2% from 3 for his career. He might’ve helped tonight but Williams has probably earned minutes because of practice performance. I think Wilks regression on D is why he sat.

Hayes had cramps according to coach after the game. Wilk has been passed up. He has given us next to nothing.

A nice win tonight.

I still think the experience Wilkerson has can help at least off the bench.

I hope he will get some minutes.

I never understood the love for Wilkerson. He is a good defensive player. That is it.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Cam obviously earned his spot in the starting lineup. For this game, Coach Mc decided to keep Miller and JHill. Based on their production, one may not be a long term fit. I can see Miller or JHill going to a 6th man role and Mwani getting another chance.

Short term I can see Miller getting the 6th man role. IMO, the best choice to the bench is JHill.

I'm not at that point yet, I think getting all new players together with a new staff and all that entails takes some time to fairly evaluate.

Having said that every home game has looked alike this year with the exception of the UNO game. We allow bad teams hang around and hang around and get real to close at the end.

Need to get to that next level soon, SEC play is right around the corner.

I think we are perhaps being unfair and expecting too much because:

1.McMahon literally built this team from nothing
2. Football turned it around so quickly

I think 7-9 SEC wins, NIT with a win a reasonable expectation

Oh, that has been my expectation all along and I think it a fair one.

He got 3 of his better players to come here with him and he got one of the two best players from Wade's team to return in Adam Miller, so it's not exactly like it's a team barren of talent.

We were picked to finish 8th in the SEC and from what I've seen that's right around where our talent is relative to the other 13 teams in the conference and that should put us right around the win mark you reference.

Long way to say I agree.
