RIP.

Was a great and fun coach. Kind of always wondered how he would pan out at LSU with our receiver talent.

A true original that can never be replaced. A guy who was NEVER afraid to speak his mind, about anything, in a society that seems to want to force everyone to be guarded about what they say.

The world of college football is a lot less fun today.

" about 4 points" was the funniest answer I've ever heard given to a reporter after a game. The question was something like, what difference did it make in the game when you kicked that field goal instead of going for the touchdown?

Coach Leach was his own man. He was great for the SEC and college football. He will be missed. He was part of the SEC family. RIP Pirate

I'm actually very bummed out about this. He was one of my favorite coaches of all time.

Life is fragile and fleeting.

Sad to post that Leach passed away after the heart attack.
Not that it much matters but only so misinformation isn't passed around, they're "still" only calling it a heart condition. That doesn't always equal heart attack.

His wit was unrivaled. He was the true definition of what it means to be completely comfortable in who you are. Seemingly every other coach today are just mindless, meathead platitude bots. Leach was NEVER that....and he was universally loved for it.
