Brandon Harris as a highly recruited QB mounted a furious comeback against a Dak Prescott led MSU team that was beating LSU’s arse. Everyone was ready to anoint Harris as the savior. He then went something like 3-14 against Auburn.
People want to believe it’s Kelly’s ego holding back Nuss but there is literally nothing to actually prove that. In fact, prior to this game, Nuss has been pretty bad when given the chance to play. Remember Max Johnson clearly beat him out last year.

Yours is an egocentric interpretation based on the assumption that Kelly is locked into some battle with you. Kelly doesn't even know you exist, and he is not involved with any struggle of egos, either with you or any other fans.
Kelly played Daniels because he thought that was our best chance of winning. Simple.

fricking lie. He was bad against Southern. My god at least try and be honest. It's fricking hilarious bashing a hugely talented kid like nuss when you are riding with a QB that literally can't pass downfield. For many this is all about race. Otherwise, there is no question who we need to take a step forward.

Everyone on here clutches their pearls when 1 word of criticism gets thrown toward CBK. He can still be a great coach and make a bad decision - starting and staying with Daniels all season is one of them. Saban also has 7 national titles, CBK currently has 0 - I think it’s fair to say that Saban might have a better idea about how to manage his quarterbacks. I don’t think that’s an outlandish statement at all

I’ll play. What makes you think Nuss is so great compared to Harris early in both of their careers. Comparable recruiting grade out of HS. Harris came in against Dak’s MSU team where we were getting blown out and made things interesting SIMILAR to what Nuss just did.
I also remember Nuss getting the start against Ark last year and being bad. Subsequently it was clear that Max was our best option.

I was thinking similar. Folks are wrapped up in past experience and won't let go. Tua and Hurts were not NFL at the time Tua was brought in. I can remember Tua scrambled maybe but a wide open man got his first td. Saban took a bold step putting in his true freshman qb.

You've been here a while. You know that's exactly what people do, take a small snippet of the backup's performance in games out of reach and project that for the rest of his career.
