So this summer I go introduced into disc golf. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I'm all in with multiple disc that do different things.
Looking to do some traveling to play a few course in the New Orleans and Laffy area.

I used to play all the time in the Cleveland/Akron area. Hurt my back and been on the shelf for about a year. Do you have drivers, midrange, and putters?

I too, enjoy smoking weed.

I played a lot with some of my buddies last year. They were hooked on it. It's a fun game

Pa Davis Park
and
Acadiana Park have some decent courses in Lafayette.
Its been a few years, but I am pretty sure Acadiana Park has 2-3 courses to play.

Highland Park in Baton Rouge is the nicest course I've been to in Louisiana. The Northshore has three very fun options, too. Pelican Park in Mandeville, Fritchie Park in Slidell, and Bedico Creek in Madisonville.

Love disc golf. Fun game that is extremely cheap to get involved in and play.

Just don’t go to the course in Scotlandville

The course at Lafreiniere Park in Metairie is quick but fun. City Park in New Orleans could be nice, but unsurprisingly doesn't receive the upkeep needed.

I've been playing for decades. We have some amazing mountain courses here in Colorado.

I went weekly for years with a group of guys and we played in a local league, but foer some reason one summer the poison ivy got real bad in the area and after getting rashes 8 times in one summer I stopped going. I'm super allergic and had to get steroids at the doc each time.

Nope, not once ever...
As mentioned Parc Des Familles is the best DG course in the area but if should be it is a Houck course. While it has multiple tee options each one is designed to actually be a test and is interesting.
In BR I like Flanacher better than any of the others but a lot of people don't prefer it.* I like that it is secluded, long, has some great shot potential and especially during the week my dog can go off leash.
Highland after the redo is decent BUT it is always crowded with DGers and lots of other people.
Have they opened Greenwood back up beside the Zoo? It was a fun course to play. They were completely redoing it and I haven't been back since they tore it out.
LHC in Scotlandville was nice until the flood kinda ruined a lot of it. It has never been my favorite and I haven't been since maybe mid-2020.
In Laffy I like Magnolia Park and Ace Run and Duzey if they are in decent shape.
I use the Udisc app for keeping my scores and it usually has fairly updated condition reports. Just looked and Greenwood appears to be still closed, it is a shame that was a great course for noobs and lots of fun with several ace runs, I have more than a dozen aces there.
*ETA re Flanacher I always skip hole 2, it often holds water at the basket and the tee shot without a spotter is begging to be hunting a disc in the briars. I know some people that tee off from #1 and go to the #4 basket cutting out #2 and #3 making it 19 holes instead of 21. I actually love #3 as it is a very exacting RH forehand stall shot.

I use disc golf to keep my legs for ski season. Courses I play are in the mountains so lots of 500ft holes. Half of the holes are up hill. Probably play 3 times a week and end up running the course towards the end of the fall before rain/sleet.

Never played, but it looks fun. They have a course at Fritchie Park in Slidell and I always see people playing while my kids have football practice
