My first thought with Elon’s pretty sudden shift into politics was that he saw what Trump pulled off and was aiming to be the right’s next cult of personality folk hero. I do get, for Trump supporters, they see this as a factual statement that is what they want.
For everyone else, it holds the same water as Facebook or Twitter saying they want to 'bring me the truth'
