Seattle man sentenced to 4 years after attempting to join ISIS: 'No problem with killing'

That seems like a light sentence for trying to join a terrorist organization that wants on bring down the US.

Elvin Hunter Bgorn Williams, 22, reportedly wanted to join ISIS to become an executioner or a machine-gunner.
A 22-year-old Seattle man was sentenced to four years in prison on Tuesday for attempting to join the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) in 2021, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The U.S. District Court in Seattle said Elvin Hunter Bgorn Williams was arrested May 28, 2021 at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after authorities were notified of his desires to travel to the Middle East to join ISIS as an "executioner" or a "machine-gunner."
Williams was charged with providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. In addition to his four-year sentence, he was also given 15 years of supervised release.

Some of the stories of foreign born ISIS fighters are funny. They arrive there and are immediately put at the front line

Do we do this for all self-pronounced enemies of the current US government and that sympathized or pledged a desire to overthrow it through force or violence? Or just the Muslim variety??
Cause I'm down, just want some consistency...

I'm aware. Just pointing out the ridiculous reality that Jan 6 has so consumed the left that they've almost completely "forgotten" about the true forceful threat to government just over a year before that. It's almost like it never happened. And so I'm not surprised by the irony of statements like that because in their eyes terrorism wears the cape of only one political party. That poster might say they would lump antifa in with the Proud Boys. The reality is that antifa has been so far removed from the media that in their want to make a snarky point the thought of them didn't even occur.
