I am not looking to derail this thread but this is nonsense. There is some absolutely great music being made everyday.
Name it
Band-Maid (for straight-up hard rock)
Freedom
From Now On
Manners and Black Hole

I remember how big Rumours was in 1977. You couldn't get away from it. Damn I'm old, and a little sad.

Just makes me feel older. Losing the greats of the 70’s.

Great musician and songwriter. Wish I had that kind of musical talent.

Rumors has an incredible story behind the making of that album. All of them cheating on each other and the drugs. Watched a great documentary on it. One of the best albums of all time. Miss that period of time greatly. Wish I could spend the rest of my life stuck in the 70s.

Not the same without Lindsay Buckingham!
They put out an Album in 2017 called Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie. The only member absent was Stevie.

This cannot be stated often enough.

RIP ... Glad I got to see her and Fleetwood Mac a few years ago in Tulsa.

This one hurts. One of my favorite bands and one of the greatest rock bands of all-time.
Stevie was the star of the band, but Christine was the soul. Fleetwood Mac lost their soul today.
RIP in paradise Christine. And thank you for great, great music.

The last artist that I would give a similar status to the previous generation of icons is Bruno Mars whose songs have crossed all demographical boundaries
I would put JT in there also but I can't think of any more.

I honestly think she was as good or better than Stevie Nicks in the vocal department.
RIP
RIP

Keith Richards is going to live to be 120 before he dies.

He just keeps ticking.

Was she sick?
I am a fan of Fleetwood Mac and it always sucks to hear someone someone you are a fan of has passed, but she was 79. At that age, you don't necessarily have to be sick to die. Things just start going wrong and eventually something will do you in.

A true talent that kept that band together.
