Great music was made for about two and a half generations but no one carried the torch to the present.
How much of that is because of all of the low hanging fruit has already been eaten? Meaning, all of the simple chord changes and melodies that we love have already been thought of and used and there isn't much left to create with those chords? I really don't know, but it is something I think about.

Wow, and I was just talking about her because "I wanna be with you everywhere" has been playing a lot on a chevy commercial.

Just saw Stevie Nicks a few weeks ago so I’ve been listening to Fleetwood Mac lately.
RIP Christine McVie

Terrible loss of an awesome and super talented musician

Very thankful I was able to hear her do her signature solo song in Atlanta, just her piano and her voice as 21,000 fans were silent. No adjectives truly describe how beautiful that moment was.

Say You Love Me
Songbird
You Make Loving Fun
Over my head
Oh Daddy
Hold Me.
Little Lies
Don’t Stop
Think About Me
Got a Hold on Me
So many great songs.

79 is pretty old, might as well say you're 80. I didn't realize she was that old.

See you on the other side babe. Thanks for the 70s, the music and great memories. What a ride! Tusk will have new meaning in BDS next year. Sad day.

Guess the landslide brought her down

One is while I knew she wasn't exactly young I also didn’t know she was that old and two I hadn't heard of any illness she had. I'm not sure what's so funny about that

I am not looking to derail this thread but this is nonsense. There is some absolutely great music being made everyday.
In that league?
No there’s not.
