The ones who glue themselves to the road should be left there overnight to soil themselves. Then, when they go to court, they should be made to pay a fine equivalent to the economic impact they cost, as well as the cost for all the public services it took to deal with them, plus another £10k for good measure.

A couple of folks with 1/4” fiberglass rods about 3’ long could fix all this.
If you knew that if you stopped traffic, glued yourself to something or threw something on a work of art that you were going to get your arse wore out with a switch that stuff would dry up quick.
No permanent damage, no more protests.

Well - just keep driving. London comes out and announces amnesty for anyone killing an activist who has glued themselves to something and marching into traffic, etc.. Well I'd guess this problem takes care of itself.
