Our lack of scoring on set pieces is really frustrating. That’s what consistently got us goals in Concacaf against teams who parked the bus. Crazy that our best aerial threat is 5’7 Mckennie. Pulisic at least but some good balls in the box today but we didn’t look dangerous at all.

No shite.

Entering this group stage, if anyone had a scenario where “beat Iran and you’re in”, we’d all have signed up for that.

I don’t care if their entire team never leaves the box, if you can’t beat Iran, spare us all the embarrassment of playing in the elimination rounds.

Remember when Gregg wanted to put Tyler Adams at RB. What a time.

His stock is rising very rapidly. And anybody who watched today saw why. Leeds lucky to tie him up for the foreseeable future.

As far as the match goes. All and all ok with it. Only real wtf was some of the late subs (should have been 10 min earlier) and the last play if the match. I mean you have a freebie at goal as time was done… why not take a shot. Kinda Bush league.

Just like all the loser England fans who assumed they would stomp us. So many nega-nats here.

It was our first clean sheet against European competition in the World Cup since 1950.

I can't imagine that Pulisic kicked it short in that scenario on his own.

We should have won this game. frick. We outplayed these limeys.

Rereading this thread there are way too many gaping vaginas getting upset over us playing better than one of the World Cup favorites. Pulisic’s shot is six inches lower and we get the three points.

Mount, Sterling, Saka, and Kane combined for a grand total of what 1 shot on target? That’s an incredible game by us.

To me it looked like Gregg was telling him to take his time before taking the set piece but who knows. We hadn’t gotten on the end of one all game so while I would have liked to see us put it in the box it’s not like we were threatening on them anyway

Moore sub was dumb… I get it but a 80% Dest is better than 100% Moore.

Y’all are braver than me, wanting a fresh Rashford and Grealish running at an obviously tired and cramping Dest. I thought the Moore sub was fine. He was our most athletic RB to put on in the moment. And if he actually crosses the ball into the six first time instead of taking a touch I think the narrative about him changes.

Honestly, we should have won. The chances were there. We really need a striker though.

Looked like Dest coming out was a training staff call.

When he came off, he immediately started yelling at one of the trainers. It's weird how we don't really rate Scally though.

This was my impression too. A lot of haters assuming the worst in here with no evidence either way.

He's been really good for his club this year. I am curious why he doesn't get any run.

I don’t think Gregg trusts him 1v1 defending and that’s what the sub was at the end of this game

Should have been Yedlin instead of Shaq. But overall quite pleased with the performance.

Very curious to see who we start against Iran. I would like to see the same starters again, except either Aaronson or Gio starts on place of a true forward

I’ll let someone else pick who is the 9

Either Gregg is a pussy or Pulisic is an idiot. Pick your poison.
