Why do we hate A&M so much?

I generally don’t like any team not LSU but I feel like I’m missing something with the extra hate A&M gets.
Yes they are very weird and the whole 7 OT gloating thing was annoying.
But we’ve won 9 out of the last 11 and will make it 10/12 Saturday. They are like an annoying little brother to me. I hate Bama and UF much more than A&M.

Everyone in the Big 12 hated them for the exact same reason they’re hated in the SEC. All bark no bite. Irrelevant in terms of collegiate athletics yet act like college athletics revolves around College Station.
TAMU is the equivalent of Virginia Tech or West Virginia and they act like they are a blue blood program.

Honestly if you lived in East Texas and was around them on a regular basis, you would totally understand! ARROGANCE!!Especially in regard to how $$$$$ Aggie is!!

If you question why LSU fans, and the rest of the conference, have such disdain for either A&M or FLORIDA, it’s a pretty safe bet that you’ve never attended a game in either College Station or Gainesville!
Make the trip to either and you’ll embrace the hate! ??

I thinks it’s mostly to do their delusional fan base that seems to think their athletics are top tier when they’re not. I know a few A&M fans personally and they truly believe that they’re one of the best athletics programs in the country, and honestly, you’d think they’d won 15 national championships in every sport. It’s nauseating to listen to the gloat about the smallest of accomplishments and people fricking hate them for it. I know I do anyway.

I always thought they where weird douchebags, kind of like home schooled kids that didn’t socialize well. I guess I started really hating them after the overtime loss game when they printed cups and acted like they had won the Super Bowl.

I personally don’t like them for buying some of the highly rated LA recruits last year. What they did to attain that recruiting class is a disgrace.

Houston has the largest LSU Alumni base outside of Louisiana.
A&M is about an hour from anywhere in Houston.
We have to deal with their fans year in and year out so it makes for a lot of disdain hearing their bullshite.

My household does not hate A&M, but that is because we have some good friends who are A&M grads and they are good people.
We attended yell practice with them in about 1990 and I actually thought it was kind of neat. Clips I see now make me cringe.
LSU needs some kind of unifying cheers/traditions like other schools have. Maybe I just can’t recognize what we have now (we seem to have lost some like Tiger Bait and Two bits), but other schools seem to have more traditional cheers the whole crowd really gets into.

We had a pretty nasty series with them from 1985-95, so my hate comes from that era. Buncha weirdos. Did not want them joining the SEC.
