that was a funny one

The first one I ever happened to see randomly was the one where Jeff’s BIL told his son where they hid the $1 then had a big spill out over the kid getting the dollar. The episode with the sexual offender who moved in the neighborhood and spilled the beans on the situation. Then at the end said he knew CPR when Sammy was choking then cue the theme music. Great episode

Anything with the Blacks in it early too

After seeing this thread and going back to review episode summaries, I think the correct answer is that every storyline is fricking awesome

When he tries to get Lewis a kidney and goes to the ski lodge and has to pretend to be married to Suzie.

The girl jumps off the ski lift because sunset is approaching and she can’t be around a man alone after sundown. Larry calls her frickin nuts and offers her a bite of edible panties

When Larry and Sheryl separated and Larry had to convince Sheryl’s therapist she should go back to him.

So many good ones. Guess I’m turning Curb on now. Krazee Eyez on the “Continue Watching” it is.

I know it’s not technically a story arc but my favorite episodes all involve death or a funeral.

Black swan
Funkhousers mom
Funkhousers dad
Funkhousers baseball playing nephew
Larry missing his moms funeral

The real question is…why is curb not considered the greatest comedy of all time?

IMO - it is better than Seinfeld, the office, cheers, Lucy, 30 rock etc etc. i think that having older characters limits it’s audience, but it is a brilliant show and one of the few things on TV that has ever made me actually laugh out loud on a consistent basis.

I have some time to kill and may start a rewatch again of Curb. One of my favorites is when Larry figures out that the MAGA hat can get him out of situations. I still think about that often.

I've been rewatching again. I must have rewatched this part 5 times last night and could not stop laughing. When they told Larry that Loretta had cancer. Hahah

Also Auntie Rhea was underrated "frick you Larry David"

I'd never really seen Curb aside form a random episode here and there like on a flight or something. Last month I was flying and knocked out a handful and I was crackgin up so I decided to give it a go. I'm finished wiht season 6 now and I watch an episode or two each night. Love this show.

This is one of the funniest scenes ever put on tv. Funk Man's face as he's listening to what's going on upstairs is so great.
