My wife in her 40's has developed an allergy to Tylenol. Out of the blue one day her face swelled and had the itchy throat and tongue thing.

There have been studies that show the additives in sodas cause allergies.
When I was little we never got to drink sodas (neither did most of my classmates). I grew up never knowing anyone with food allergies.
These days, it seems every other kid has some kind of allergy.

I’m 70 and in the last few years peanuts have caused me to get a bit of an itchy throat. It lasts for about 15 mins and then all is good.
I used to get indigestion when taking aspirin or Ibuprofen to the point of my chest hurting somewhat. Over the years I’ve become tolerant and am fine with both now.
It goes both ways I guess.

Went the other way, thank you. I had two allergic reactions to shrimp in my 20s. I powered through it and now they don't bother me at all anymore. I wasn't willing to give up seafood.

Poison Ivy. I’m still not highly allergic, and have to get in a bunch for it cause a small reaction, but even that never happened until a couple years ago

avocados.
That would suck.
I do not understand the obsession with avocados.

Broccoli
I used to eat that shite raw, steamed, grilled, whatever for years. In about my late teens/early twenties I started getting significant stomach cramps whenever I would eat it (even cooked).
I’ve wondered though if it was possibly a GI issue that has resolved so I’ve been tempted to try it again.

Washing detergent. I have to use the non scented detergent and can’t use dryer sheets or I get random rashes on my skin.

titanium dioxide.
It's in almost everything from medications, candies, tooth paste, sun screens, you name it.
It fricks me up royally.
The only reason it is included is to make the products look whiter and brighter. Europe has banned it and I hope USA will soon.
frick TiO2
