Packing a small keurig in carry on bag

Can I pack a small keurig machine in my carry on bag/suitcase?
I will not be checking a bag for our flight.

Why?
Are you staying in a hotel? Many hotels have keurigs or Nespresso machines. Same with AirBnB. Are you traveling somewhere like a city or town? Likely there is a local coffee house worth your patronage. That’s maybe a equivalent to adults you see flying with their pillow.

Get an aeropress. Will travel better and make superior coffee to the keurig.

Many do not. I’m staying at a very nice VRBO and they don’t.

There is one where I’m going and I will go there. But not at 530 in the morning in the dark and 15 degrees.
Your response is both condescending and daft.

Please carefully pack your electronics items and make sure all cords are wrapped. While you can pack expensive, fragile electronics items in checked or carry-on bags, we recommend packing them in your carry-on.

Yes it is allowed. I wouldn't recommend it but it is allowed.

You are probably right. I’m just fascinated by the things people pack as necessities on any trip. And personally have never had a cup of coffee from a Keurig that was so delicious that I couldn’t live without it on a trip.

I apologize for my less than kind response.
I hear what you are saying.
In my experience, the coffee provided by hotels is much worse than anything in Keurig, so I bring my single serve one with me for car travel just in case.

I would buy a small cheap coffee maker at Walmart, or perhaps a Bialetti Mocha.
Carrying a coffee maker in a carry on seems like a giant PITA.

Perhaps you could negotiate a deal with the VRBO. Buy one and have it shipped there in turn for a reduced rate on your bill (cost of the Keurig).

Just as an aside, I always run a couple of cups of water through those things before I use them. No telling how many times I’ve opened them up to find mold in the water reservoir from not being cleaned properly.

I travel with a nanopresso quite a bit, and have never had trouble.

I bring this little baby with me when I travel on vacation. I fill it up with stuff from my doc bag to save space. Of course you need a stove, but all my Airbnb rentals have one. We will be in Hawaii in two weeks and cannot wait to sip some fresh Kona in the wee morning hours!
