Aside from special teams, The offensive line has overachieved. They’ve held up well at times especially against Bama but still give up a ton of sacks and I think they will be our downfall against an elite uga defense. That being said the experience these 2 freshman are getting is invaluable and they will both be all Americans and bring home the hardware before their careers are over

It’s a reason behind the the nonproductive offensive game this past weekend!!!!! You will be able to determine that by the next SEC game and championship! We all are down sometimes especially during this part of the season! The young man played through it all! Yet, he was still the best option

Special teams is by far the biggest weakness but you’re right about the passing game. Daniels is effective when he’s put in good situations. Every QB is better when it’s second or third and 5 or less but for JD it’s a necessity. He’s just a non factor in 3rd and long situations and he needs to be protected with the run game.

Quarterback holds ball too long and negative yards plays.

Dude is hot garbage in accuracy

The “dude” is second in the SEC in passing accuracy at almost 70%.

I guess the real hot garbage is your accuracy in your posting.

Lack of an intermediate and deep passing game.

Agree; it’s what holds this offense back. He’s sub-par throwing to receivers on the move ( think it’s why seems like all catches are when receivers are static, exceptions being rbs and tes on wheel routes) and deep throws (+30yds downfield). This offense has to be one of the least explosive offenses in the p5 conferences. What I don’t know, and no journalist has asked, is whether that’s by bk design or a result of daniels inadequacies and decision making.

Have you legitimately been impressed from what you’ve seen from Daniels throwing the ball this year? I haven’t and there’s only 1 game that I think he looked great passing the ball and that was against Florida. Saying that he is the 2nd most accurate passer in the SEC makes him sound like a lot better passer than he actually is.

I would 100% take these guys as my starting qb over Daniels and I think our team’s offense would be much better with any of them taking snaps:

Bryce Young
Hendon Hooker
Stetson Bennett
Will Levis

I’ll say inconsistency in the passing game. There’s been games where Daniels has looked great and then we get the deer in headlights, holding onto the ball Daniels. Sometimes good Daniels and bad in the same game. I’m a fan of the kid, I think he’ll be more consistent next season

Yes Cleo, you ask. None of us are inside the program privy to game planning conversations. It’s not that hard to go through life without being a jackass. Try it sometime.

What ? We played 10 games and JD has an average of 1.4 touchdown passes per game. You have to throw the ball to have TD’s and interceptions. I will give him one TD was a Hail Mary at the end of the game and the other was a tipped ball I believe.

I can’t decide on which one is worse:

1. JD’s consistency
2. His low average yards per game
3. The play calling by the OC
4. The special teams play/coaching
5. The cornerback position in general
a. Because I’m use to elite corners. I don’t know if Sevin Banks is the answer
6. The middle of the offensive line. Center for starters. We need one this cycle

Been impressed

If you thought the only time he’s been impressive throwing the ball or running the team was Flor, then we have been watching different games.

I didn’t say anything but Daniels being great but what I did say was that a passing percentage when you play in the SEC of almost 70% is far from “hot garbage”.

I’d rather have Joe come back for another year but that’s not gonna happen and neither are any of those other guys you mentioned starting to play for LSU.

Continually pissing and moaning about a quarterback who has helped LSU to the west title and a top 10 national ranking is simply not anything I’m going to do, but that’s just me.
