You think Trump shouldn't have to earn the nomination?
Do you think We are going to vote for a person who does something like this?
Who is surrounded himself with a World Economic Forum member who just interviewed with Politico stating he is back DeSantis for 2024 because he wants to Kill America First and realign the party with Multinational corps (Globalism)
Why would the man say that is WHY he is backing DeSantis? Because he believes that DeSantis will bring that end.

“DeSantis is playing too-cute-by-half, in pretending not to be a participant in the professional republican operation. If Governor Ron DeSantis was not an active participant, he would not be playing coy with his 2024 GOP nomination intent. Trump isn’t going to play pretend. As long as DeSantis pretends, he will be targeted by President Trump because Trump isn’t going to allow the professional republican apparatus to destroy the populist movement.”

Trump knows more about what's going on then the TD will give him credit for. So I will just stick with my stance of taking a proven America first commodity. So if Trump is not truly America first but my family and myself still feel like it and my bank account reflects it DeSantis can keep building sand castles.

Guess you don’t pay attention to the crowds at his rally’s
If that meant anything Trump would have won 45 states in 2020

Can you find when this claim was made? You can't because he never said it
I can find a claim easily enough. But.. they’re unnamed sources of course. Here’s a mediaite article citing an article in vanity fair. Of course the article also says that he may run.
Take it for what it’s worth to you
Other than that you have Mark Meadows suggesting that he won’t run.
But you’re right there isn’t anything definitive out of Ron’s mouth directly.

Let’s see DeSantis go across the country and have sell out overflow record crowds. Until then, ya Trumpy is #1, bitch

He just ran for reelection of governor, he could very easily say hes not running, but NOPE.
Why should he do this?
Posted on 11/10/22 at 11:17 pm to TigersN_Beer
Because he essentially just promised his state 4 more years.

But if you asked me if I agree or disagree with the write up I posted in the OP the answer is I agree with it. It is a very good synopsis of the current disposition of the GOP and the fight for its future.
And you believe Trump is anti-establishment, and as such the establishment sees him as a mortal threat?

Couple of questions for you I’m curious about:
If Desantis were the Republican candidate in 2020 instead of Trump, would Biden have still gotten 81 million votes?
Would Desantis have topped 81 million votes?

Trump rallies are awesome, but they don't mean that much when it comes to winning an election. I mean - he lost to a dementia-riddled pedophile that campaigned from his basement. Yeah, cheating and all that, but there's not even a trophy for sportsmanship.

As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis megadonor and Citadel hedge fund billionaire, Ken Griffin, openly admitted recently the Wall Street goals are (1) stop the populist movement and (2) get the republican party back in alignment with the multinational “corporate world.” These are the same goals of the Republican leadership in Washington DC and the same goals as the corporate media who serve as the public relations firms for Wall Street.

I'm gonna take an educated guess that his supporters would much prefer he win a landslide victory as governor now and then announce later.

Well but see you brought up the 2020 election yourself, with the basement comment. What that essentially was was using that idea as a way to “measure up” Trump in judging his competency to win NOW. “Look how he measured up to a guy in his basement”. So it’s only reasonable to use that same unit of measure with the presumptive Republican challenger.
